OMR Answer Sheet Checker Step 1: Define Test

The Addmen OMR software is made up of three modules, out of which the most commonly used, is the OMR answer sheet checker. It is apt for checking MCQ OMR test papers, as it detects the marks made on the OMR answer bubbles by the students. Apart from this, it also processes the data collected by the software. The OMR answer sheet checker has four steps; the first amongst which is define test.

Define test, as the name suggests, helps you to define the MCQ test parameters. Here, you will be taken to a panel where you can set the parameters of the test. Here are the things that you will have to do:

• The first thing that you have to do is provide the test title, i.e., name of the examination.
• The next thing that you have to select is the test date, test ID and the sheet layout.
• After this comes the part where you can select the number of sections or subjects in a test and name them too.
• You can also select the number of questions for each section or subject.
• This helps to show the results, i.e. marks according to questions. A question-wise analysis of the answer sheets is provided by the software. You will be able to know the correctly answered questions, incorrectly answered questions, those not attempted, etc. of each section.
• You can also set the cut off marks of every section.
• Defining these parameters of the test is important as these are used as file names for saving the results as well as for printing the reports.

Since you have defined the MCQ test parameters and named the tests it will be easier for you to save the results and print, publish or mail the reports.
